ECODryBlock

ECODryBlock is a modular dry block heater for precise heating of samples, supporting a wide range of applications in Life Science laboratories:

• Incubation and sample preparation – including DNA/RNA extraction and purification, enzymatic reactions, and activation of cell cultures.
• Denaturation and assay preparation – DNA and protein denaturation, SDS-PAGE sample preparation, serum studies, immunoassays, and clinical tests such as coagulation and blood-urea-nitrogen determinations, as well as in situ hybridizations.
• Physical and chemical studies – melting and boiling point determination, culture media tests, and other analytical protocols.

Thanks to its extended temperature range up to 165 °C, the ECODryBlock can also be employed by environmental laboratories to measure the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) in water samples.
