LS Scientific Limited - Terms and Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the sale of goods and services by LS Scientific Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you (“customer”, “you”).

 

These Terms apply to all orders placed via our website or otherwise.

 

Where you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

2. Orders

 

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • All information provided is accurate and complete 

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a contract 

 

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where necessary.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling and may be subject to applicable taxes depending on your location.

 

Unless otherwise stated, payment must be made in advance.

 

If payment is not received by the due date:

  • Interest of 10% may be applied to overdue amounts 

  • We reserve the right to suspend or cancel orders 

 

If payment remains outstanding after 60 days, we reserve the right to engage a debt recovery agency. Any associated legal costs will be payable by the customer.

 

Where applicable, withholding taxes in certain jurisdictions remain the responsibility of the customer.

 

4. Delivery

 

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

 

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver within agreed timeframes but accept no liability for delays outside our control.

 

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.

 

5. Returns and Refunds

 

Please refer to our Returns and Refund Policy for full details on returning goods and requesting refunds.

6. Cancellation (General)

 

Once an order has been accepted, cancellation may only be made with our agreement.

 

For business customers, cancellations requested after 30 days from order placement may incur an administrative fee of up to 10%.

 

This clause does not affect statutory rights available to consumers, including the EU right of withdrawal where applicable.

7. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

 

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

 

The withdrawal period will expire 14 days after:

  • For goods: the day you (or a third party indicated by you) receive the goods 

  • For services: the day the contract is concluded 

How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

 

You may exercise your right of withdrawal using our online withdrawal function available on our website.

 

To withdraw from your contract:

  1. Access the “Withdraw from Contract” function 

  2. Submit your withdrawal request 

  3. Confirm your request as prompted 

 

You will receive confirmation of your withdrawal request by email, including the date and time of submission.

 

Effects of Withdrawal

 

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (where applicable), without undue delay and within 14 days.

 

We may withhold reimbursement until:

  • We receive the returned goods, or 

  • You provide proof of return 

 

You must return goods within 14 days of notifying us.

 

Unless otherwise stated, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods.

 

Exceptions

 

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Goods made to your specifications or personalised 

  • Sealed goods not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons once opened 

  • Digital content supplied with your prior consent 

 

8. Product Information

 

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, and images are accurate.

 

However, we reserve the right to make changes without notice.

 

9. Liability

 

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence 

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation 

  • Any matter which cannot be excluded by law 

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses 

  • Loss of business, revenue, or profits 

 

10. Claims

 

Any claims must be notified to us within 8 days of delivery or service provision.

 

Claims must be submitted in writing to our registered address.

 

11. Governing Law

 

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

 

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
