Esco Labculture® Class II Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinet (Low Noise) combines a multitude of design, construction, and proprietary technological considerations to provide optimum operator, product, and environmental protection.
The G series is equipped with Dual blowers for inflow and downflow which is a redundant system that provides protection in case of fan failure. This unit is also equipped with multi-piece, autoclavable work tray for easy cleaning process and tempered glass sidewalls for better visibility.
Both HEPA and ULPA filters have a similar function, to trap particulate impurities but they perform very differently.
- High Efficiency Particulate Air Filter (HEPA Filter) - known for its 99.97% efficiency in removing particles with sizes of 0.3 diameter or larger.
- Ultra-Low Particulate Air Filter (ULPA Filter) - removes smaller particles sizes between 0.1-0.3 microns with an efficiency of 99.999%.
