About the Role
We are looking for two Technical Service Engineers to support our customers and sales team from our Nigeria operations. You’ll play a key role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instruments, providing technical support and training, and ensuring all service activities meet LS Scientific standards and ISO 9001 compliance.
What You’ll Do
Install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, AAS, UV/VIS spectrophotometers, pH meters, balances, viscometers, and digesters.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Provide on-site technical support and deliver user training to customers.
Support the sales team with product demonstrations and technical presentations.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, ISO standards, and health & safety regulations.
Participate in technical training and suggest improvements to service processes.
What we are looking for:
• B.Tech, B.Sc., or HND in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation (HPLC, GC, AAS, etc.).
• Professional certification in instrumentation/engineering is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Customer-focused, tech-savvy, and adaptable.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria.
• Collaborative, professional, and self-motivated.
