Manufactured from 3.3 expansion borosilicate glass complying with ISO 3585 (ASTM E-438 Type 1 Class A)
Provides an alternative method of connecting components that may be difficult to align (up to 15? from vertical alignment), or where a flexible joint is required instead of a more rigid conical joint that could come under strain and break
The glass surfaces of the ball and cup joints are polished allowing grease-free operation
The joint seal is created by using a PTFE covered silicone 'O' ring which fits on to end of the ball joint
The all glass and PTFE pathway is highly resistant to chemical attack
Can be used at temperatures up to 200?C
Minimum shank length of joint is 150mm
All component parts - ball joint, cup joint & PTFE covered 'O' ring should be ordered separately
