Temperature is used for automatic pH temperature compensation and measurement. This HI-1230Y electrode features an integral temperature sensor, double junction reference, gelled electrolyte, low temperature (LT) glass, and a spherical bulb protected by the extension of the durable PEI body.
 
This design consideration is ideal for field applications as well as general purpose use.
